Question 1

What is the difference between a golf cart and a street legal LSV?

Accepted Answer

A golf cart is limited to private property and typically tops out near 15 mph. A street legal Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) is a federally recognized vehicle class capable of 20–25 mph and must carry DOT-rated equipment: headlights, tail and brake lights, turn signals, reflectors, mirrors, a parking brake, DOT windshield, seat belts and a 17-digit VIN. MAC EV builds both configurations on the same reinforced chassis platform.

Question 2

Why choose a lithium battery golf cart instead of lead-acid?

Accepted Answer

Lithium (LiFePO4) packs deliver 2,000–3,500 cycles versus roughly 500–800 for flooded lead-acid, weigh up to 60% less, require no watering or terminal maintenance, and hold voltage under load so the vehicle keeps full torque on hills. For rental and resort fleets this typically cuts cost-per-hour and eliminates battery room labour.

Question 3

Do you support OEM, ODM and dealer private labelling?

Accepted Answer

Yes. MAC EV supports custom body colours, upholstery, wheel packages, dashboard graphics, badge and logo branding, market-specific homologation documents and container-optimised packing for 40HQ shipments.

Question 4

What certifications and documents are supplied for export?

Accepted Answer

Vehicles are produced to CE and DOT-aligned specifications with UN38.3 and MSDS documentation for lithium packs, plus VIN plates, EPA/DOT compliance labels where applicable, homologation support files and a full spare-parts catalogue for after-sales stocking.
